WordPress Gutenberg 5.0 RELEASED: DONT UPDATE! – Divi Theme, Elementor and Brizy TESTED!!
WordPress Version 5.0 which includes the gutenberg builder is finally here! If you are running the divi theme, elementor or even brizy i would strongly recommend you do not update at all! I have found some bugs with each builder and also if you find anything wrong with your website make sure to notify the developers to help them fix it!

YES! do update WordPress 5.0 because they are awesome and shut up !
Classic Press. Say good bye to wordpress. https://www.classicpress.net/
Love this video! Found this right before my update … And got all the excitements but none of the fears cuz I let him do the work! Thanx a bunch dude … keep bringing us more …
Before update WordPress always update the plugins first!
Why do we have to use Gutenberg if it is giving this many discrepancies. We should be able to turn it off. Probably won't be good for WordPress.
I cant stand the 5.0 . I have betheme installed and none of my visual editor work any longer. I had to go back to the classic style and now I am good.
I updated and it screwed up my site
My site's logo on top of page is gone. I used to have the "custom site logo" plugin but it's not working any longer. The menu (font type and size) has changed also, The title of my posts and pages look too big in comparison to the menu. I installed the "classic editor" plug in to fix these issues but it is not doing anything.
I also have had problems since the update and my website http://www.freund-foto.de had a database crash. Luckily, I had made a backup before.
there are still a lot of problems with 5.0
From DenmarkGreat video :) My Divi builder is not working – is not launching?
The first I saw in your video, is that you have lots of updatings pending. As you probably know, majority issues have been fixed in last updates. So don’t panic people, just teach them how to do it well, and the first is update everything before intalling WP 5.0. A lot of bad steps before updating.
Well I think SiteOrigin PageBuilder isn't working correctly just now. Can you check it out?
I couldn’t find how to get a short link … used the classic editor plug in to go back
After updating all my projects with the latest updates from WPBakery (Visual Composer), Enfold, Newspapers and Divi; as well as the latest updates of SEO by Yoast, Gravity Form, Woocommerce, Ithemes Security, in addition to the cache plugins, such as WP Super Cache. I have been able to verify that everything works perfectly well with WordPress 5.0.
As long as you update your plugins and themes first with the latest recent updates that are fully compatible with WP5, there should be no problem updating to WordPress 5.0.
You have to go in and update DIVI to the latest version, enter or update your API key, and then you'll see the BUILDER again. I just went through this.
5.0 destroyed my website, and WordPress is completely unusable now IMO. I had spent weeks creating cells in Microsoft Office, all 31 pages worth into WP, I had re-work everything after copying and pasting it into WP editor, and now everything is all scrunched up. The tables are all off with the numbers and percentages. You'd think that you could just go in and back space a few spaces and fix the climbing, but in the wordpress work area it looks fine for the text but not the tables and cells, also now the work area is just some extremely narrow gray on gray garbage work space. (is there a way to revert)
Like a big dummy I updated without doing some basic research first. One more thing among many, when I edit w/ Elementor all I get is a bunch of garbled text.
I experienced the divi backend broken thing after upgrading to wordpress 5. But you can get it back by installing the plugin "Classic Editor" from wordpress … so it should be OK :)
Hey those who are saying after update to latest version of WordPress the back end Divi builder is disappear.
Please install Classic Editor Plugin to appear the back end Divi builder again.
Have you updated the theme and plugins as well? 😂
I run three websites, the smallest is one for a small club. So I tried the club website first for 5.0. I'd stripped all unnecessary plugins and changed the theme to WP's 2017. I experienced very few problems. A table lost borders – no one had mentioned that as a possibility, a link wouldn't take until I reinstalled the paragraph it was in and then it was OK, and it refused to delete copy on a page. The table and delete occurred on the same page, one with 17,909 words on it, so that might have been the problem. I use Elementor on my other two sites and I'm a bit nervous about how that will cope but overall I quite like it. It is not as sophisticated as Elementor but it is fine.
I'll post again once I've tried it on my main sites.
How do I downgrade? ;_:
guys i need to make an article template in gutenberg.
that is, I write all the articles in the same way – who, what, a brief list of contents, then chapter 1,2,3, then a conclusion from the text and an appeal to the readers.
Is it possible in Gutenberg to make such a block pattern that would click once such a collection of blocks on 1 page was opened at once and only enter the text?
Can someone see such an instruction?
thank
